Spin on the classic French 75 cocktail which uses gin, lemon, champagne and simple syrup (sugar). The French 75 is a great way to take a run-of-the-mill sparkling wine to the next level, both of flavor and strength!
1-1/2oz 100% agave tequila (blanco)
1 oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz Monin pure cane sugar syrup
2 dash Angostura orange bitters
Top with brut sparkling
Mix tequila, lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters in a cocktail shaker.
Fill shaker with ice and shake well.
Strain into a champagne flute and top with champagne.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
